Gluten Free Pizza - Thursdays and Fridays
We are happy to introduce the new addition to our menu - Gluten Free pizza.
After 2 years of research we have decided to introduce Gluten Free pizza to those who are Coeliac or intolerant to gluten. It has been a long journey and we would not have been able to do it without the help and support of some of our suppliers.
It is still a trail and for that reason we have decided to offer Gluten free only on Thursdays with the view to offer it every day of the week in the future.
We have taken every step possible to try and prevent cross contamination from taken place and to reduce the risk. However we cannot guarantee 100% this will not happen.
We have allocated one person who will be making the Gluten Free pizza's and use a separate oven and utensils with the aim of reducing and preventing cross contamination.
Disclaimer
We are only offering ingredients which are gluten free. We have checked with our suppliers and have obtained confirmation that the following are Gluten Free ; Cheese, Pizza sauce, Vegetables used, Pepperoni, and fish products.
Other ingredients which we use have not been checked or some have labels which state it contains Gluten. For that reason we will not use those toppings on our Gluten Free pizzas. If the customer wishes for us to use those toppings then we will not take responsibility for the outcome which it may cause.
As our cheese contains gluten, we buy blocks of Mozzarella and grate it ourselves. As stated above we use a separate pizza oven to cook the gluten free pizza's and use different utensils (e.g pizza cutters, pans, etc). The person allocated to making the pizza's will wear surgical gloves after washing their hands thoroughly before touching any Gluten Free Pizza.
